**BREAKING: WORLD’S LARGEST ICED LATTE SERVED IN 11-FOOT-TALL CUP, CAUSES NEIGHBORING BUILDINGS TO SHUDDER**

In a jaw-dropping, heart-stopping, and downright unbelievable display of caffeine-fueled excess, a team of baristas at “The Daily Grind” coffee shop in downtown Los Angeles has successfully crafted and served the world’s largest iced latte – a behemoth of a beverage that stands at an astonishing 11 feet tall and 4 feet wide.

The gargantuan drink, which has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records (or at least, the coffee shop’s mom), was poured into a custom-made cup that appears to be a giant, hollowed-out skyscraper. The cup, which has its own zip code, is so massive that it has been equipped with its own internal support system to prevent it from toppling over and crushing the surrounding city block.

According to eyewitnesses, the latte – made with an absurd 100 gallons of milk, 20 gallons of espresso, and a splash of syrup that was apparently added by a team of highly trained, ninja-like baristas – was so large that it created its own weather system, complete with a miniature tornado that lifted nearby pedestrians off the ground and deposited them safely on the other side of the street.

“I was just walking down the street, minding my own business, when suddenly I was swept up in a vortex of frothy milk and espresso,” said local resident, Jane Doe. “It was like being in a real-life coffee-fueled whirlwind. I’m still finding coffee grounds in my hair.”

The massive latte, which has been christened “The Lattezilla,” is expected to attract millions of visitors to the city, all of whom will be eager to see – and perhaps even taste – the world’s largest iced coffee drink.

When asked about the inspiration behind the record-breaking beverage, lead barista, John Smith, said, “We just wanted to push the limits of what was thought possible. And also, we heard that if you drink a coffee this big, you’ll be granted temporary invincibility. So, you know, science.”

The Lattezilla will be on display for the next week, during which time visitors can take a ride up the cup’s built-in elevator and enjoy a (relatively) normal-sized cup of coffee while taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding city.

In related news, the city’s mayor has announced plans to install a giant coffee cup-shaped monument in the city’s central park, in honor of the record-breaking latte. When asked about the monument, the mayor said, “We’re just trying to keep up with the demand for caffeine-fueled excitement. And also, we heard that coffee is the new jogging. So, we’re just trying to stay ahead of the curve.”
