**BREAKING: PANIC GRIPS PENNSYLVANIA AS ROGUE PIG LEADS POLICE ON WILD GOOSE CHASE**

In a bizarre incident that has left residents of rural Pennsylvania in stitches, a sassy pig is on the loose, evading authorities and leaving a trail of chaos in its wake.

According to eyewitnesses, the porcine fugitive, described as a “plump and agile” pig with a mischievous glint in its eye, was last seen oinking and snorting its way through the streets of tiny Timberline Township.

“I was just minding my own business, sipping coffee and enjoying the sunshine, when suddenly this pig comes barreling down the main street, sending pedestrians running for cover,” said local resident, Agnes Jenkins. “I mean, I’ve seen some crazy things in my time, but this was something else. It was like it had a death wish… or a hankering for bacon.”

Police were quick to respond to the scene, but the cunning pig proved to be a slippery customer, dodging and weaving through alleys and backstreets with ease.

“We’re doing our best to catch this pig, but it’s like it has a PhD in evasive maneuvers,” said Officer Bob Smith, who is leading the pursuit. “We’ve got officers on the ground, helicopters in the air, and even a K-9 unit on standby, but this pig is one step ahead of us. It’s like it’s watching ‘The Great Escape’ reruns or something.”

The pig’s motives are still unclear, but authorities suspect it may be seeking revenge for past slights, such as the great “trash can heist of 2018” or the infamous “garden gnome caper of 2020.”

Meanwhile, residents are advised to remain calm but vigilant, and to report any further sightings of the marauding pig.

As one local quipped, “I guess you could say we’re in a bit of a ‘pig-fect storm’ here in Timberline Township. But don’t worry, we’ll catch the beastie eventually… or at least, I hope we will. I mean, I don’t want to have to start locking my garden gnomes in the garage.”

**UPDATE:** The pig has just been spotted making a break for the local farmer’s market, where it’s reportedly eyeing the fresh produce stand. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story!
