**BREAKING: CANINE COMMUTER SHOCKS TRANSIT RIDERS WITH DARING DEED**

In a bizarre incident that has left commuters howling with laughter, a stray dog reportedly boarded a TransLink train in British Columbia and rode it all the way to the end of the line, sans ticket and with apparent reckless abandon.

According to eyewitnesses, the furry fugitive somehow managed to sneak onto the crowded train at Surrey’s King George Station, weaving in and out of bewildered passengers as it made its way to the quiet car.

“I was just trying to get to work and suddenly there’s a dog in a seat next to me, panting like it just ran a marathon,” said commuter Karen Jenkins. “I mean, I’ve seen some weird things on the train before, but this was on a whole different level.”

The dog, described as a scruffy little terrier mix with a mischievous glint in its eye, reportedly charmed its way through the train, collecting pats and scratches from fellow riders as it went.

“I was shocked when the dog just jumped up onto my lap and started licking my face,” said fellow commuter David Lee. “I guess you could say it was a real ‘paws-itive’ experience.”

The canine commuter eventually disembarked at the end of the line, where it was scooped up by a team of animal control officers and taken to the local shelter.

“We’re just glad the dog didn’t cause any major disruptions to the train schedule,” said a TransLink spokesperson. “Although, we are considering adding a new ‘pet-friendly’ car to our trains. It’s clearly a popular service.”

The shelter has named the dog “Loki” and is currently seeking its owner. In the meantime, Loki is enjoying the perks of being a local celebrity, with many commuters stopping by to visit the daring dog.

As one shelter volunteer quipped, “I guess you could say Loki ‘rail’-ly knows how to make an entrance!”
