Seriously? Reindeer on the 405?!
Are you KIDDING me right now? Reindeer? On a California freeway? I swear, every time I think things can’t get any more ridiculous – and let’s be honest, living in this state provides ample opportunity for that – something like this happens. Apparently, two ungulates decided to stage a grand escape from a trailer somewhere, deciding the 405 was the ideal location for an impromptu photo op.
Because, naturally, what else would one do? Traffic already crawls along at a glacial pace thanks to questionable construction and aggressive drivers; now we have to contend with rogue reindeer adding another layer of absurdity? I can just picture it: commuters slamming on their brakes, frantically snapping pictures instead of, you know, driving. “Look! A reindeer! Quick, post it!”
Honestly, the sheer lack of common sense. Did these reindeer not realize they were disrupting rush hour? Were they expecting a welcoming parade and a supply of lichen? Its just… peak California. We’ve got wildfires, earthquakes, avocado toast shortages… now this.
I bet someone is already planning a holiday-themed marketing campaign around it. Experience the Magic! (While Avoiding Collisions!) Ugh. Just let me get to work, people. And keep your reindeer on a leash – or better yet, in a trailer. Please.
