**BREAKING: CAPYBARA CATASTROPHE AVERTED IN POLISH SUBURBS**

In a daring heist, two rogue capybaras, known only by their aliases “Rodent Ronnie” and “Furry Frank,” staged a daring escape from a private zoo in rural Poland, leaving a trail of chaos and bewildered onlookers in their wake.

The Great Capybara Caper began at approximately 3:00 AM on Tuesday, when the cunning critters somehow managed to slip through a gap in their enclosure and make a break for freedom. Eyewitnesses described the scene as “absolute pandemonium” as the capybaras, described as “large, rodent-like creatures with a penchant for aquatic hijinks,” made their way through the quiet suburban streets.

“It was like they had a plan,” said local resident, Janina Kowalski. “They were like two commandos, moving swiftly and surely, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. I mean, who needs a getaway car when you’ve got webbed feet and a taste for adventure?”

As the capybaras made their way through the neighborhood, they reportedly caused a stir among local residents, who were shocked to see the unusual creatures frolicking in their backyards.

“I was sipping my morning coffee when I saw one of them munching on my neighbor’s prize-winning petunias,” said local resident, Piotr Nowak. “I thought I was hallucinating from too much caffeine, but then I saw the other one doing cannonballs in the nearby pond. I mean, who needs a morning jog when you’ve got capybaras on the loose?”

A massive manhunt (or rather, capybara-hunt) was launched, with local police enlisting the help of residents to track down the wayward rodents.

“It was like a scene from a cartoon,” said Officer Tomasz Wróbel, who led the pursuit. “We had people on bicycles, on foot, and even on horseback chasing after these… these… capybara bandits. I mean, who knew they were so fast?”

After a thrilling chase, which included a high-speed capybara pursuit through a local market, the authorities finally corralled the capybaras in a nearby alleyway.

As they were taken back into custody, “Rodent Ronnie” and “Furry Frank” were seen exchanging a knowing glance, as if to say, “That was the best escape plan ever… until next time!”

The capybaras are currently being held for further study and, reportedly, to prevent any future rodent-related shenanigans.

In related news, local residents are advised to keep a close eye on their petunias and to report any further sightings of these cunning critters.
