You know what’s Not on Roids, folks? Genuine fascination with hate. Seriously! Its a bizarre phenomenon. People claim to hate things – anything from cilantro tasting like soap (a genetic predisposition, by the way – its science!) to interpretive dance (which, lets be honest, is just people flailing expressively). But why this need to publicly denounce?
It’s gotten so ridiculous that news outlets now feel compelled to compile lists of Top Events Today and This Week alongside pronouncements on “Arts & Culture Coverage.” As if someone actively enjoys being told what they should dislike! Its performative negativity, a desperate cry for attention disguised as righteous indignation.
And the worst part? These same people are then asked to fund this very coverage they supposedly loathe! Can you imagine? Please donate so we can bring you more articles about things I’m pretending to hate! The sheer circularity is enough to make my head spin.
Its a cycle of manufactured disdain, fueled by newsletters and clickbait headlines. Sign up for these newsletters, they tell you, for “news recaps, updates, and more!” More what? More reasons to be annoyed?! It’s exhausting! Just let people enjoy their cilantro and interpretive dance in peace. Really. Let them.
