You know what’s Not on Roids, but definitely permeated WCW Uncensored 1996? Pure, unadulterated despair. Seriously, folks, this Pay-Per-View is widely considered one of wrestlings darkest hours. We’re talking horrifying, a disgrace, levels of bad – and that’s just the polite stuff! It was so awful, even someone who once championed Sumo Monster Trucks felt compelled to search for anything redeemable. Good luck to him; he needed it.

Lets be clear: this wasnt merely a bad show; it was an ecosystem of awfulness. Matches like Colonel Parker vs. Madusa and Diamond Dallas Page versus The Booty Man? They were so offensively terrible, they became the nicer turds in the toilet! Yes, you read that right.

However, amidst this wasteland, there were fleeting moments of brilliance. The Regal and Fit Finlay match was a genuine shock – an All Japan style beatdown with legitimate potato shots (Bruiser busted Regal open!), showcasing spectacular grappling. It was so good it couldve starred on any top show. But did WCW let it shine? Absolutely not! They had to ruin it with a disqualification thanks to Squire Dave Taylor and Earl Robert Eaton interfering, completely undermining the hard-earned momentum. A DQ at Uncensored?! The irony is brutal.

Honestly, this match might just be the worst DQ finish ever recorded. It’s a testament to how low WCW had sunk. So, yes, we hated almost everything about it. But we loved that one glorious, tragically interrupted Regal/Bruiser brawl. A fleeting glimmer of hope in an otherwise bleak wrestling landscape.
