**BREAKING: Rogue Alpacas Cause Commotion at Cedar Point**

SANDUSKY, OH – In a bizarre incident that has left visitors and staff alike in a state of wonder, a group of alpacas escaped from the petting zoo at Cedar Point, one of the world’s premier amusement parks.

The great escape occurred on Wednesday afternoon, around 2:45 PM, when a group of approximately 5 alpacas managed to break free from their enclosure in the Cedar Point Shores Water Park’s petting zoo area. Witnesses described the scene as “chaotic” as the furry creatures made their way through the park, weaving in and out of crowds and causing a stir among visitors.

“I was waiting in line for the Mako roller coaster when I saw them,” said park-goer Emily Wilson, 27, of Columbus. “At first, I thought they were part of some kind of character meet-and-greet, but then I realized they were just… roaming free.”

The alpacas, estimated to be around 2-3 years old, appeared to be healthy and unharmed as they explored the park. They were seen wandering through the Cedar Point Shores Water Park area, passing by popular attractions like the Point Plummet water slides and the Wicked Twister roller coaster.

“I was so excited to see them!” exclaimed 9-year-old Olivia Jenkins, who was visiting the park with her family. “I love animals, and it was like they were on an adventure, just like me!”

Cedar Point staff quickly sprang into action, working to safely corral the wayward alpacas and return them to their enclosure. After a 20-minute effort, the alpacas were successfully rounded up and returned to their home, where they were reportedly “shaken but unharmed.”

“We apologize for the incident and are investigating how this happened,” said a Cedar Point spokesperson. “The safety and well-being of our animals and guests is our top priority, and we will take steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again.”

The incident has left many park visitors and animal lovers alike wondering how such an unusual escape could occur. As for the alpacas, they seem to have enjoyed their brief taste of freedom.

“It was definitely a unique experience,” said park visitor David Lee, 32, of Cleveland. “I’ve never seen anything like it. I hope they got a good story out of it, at least!”

The alpacas have been named as Luna, Leo, Ginger, Lola, and Cinnamon and are expected to make a full recovery. The incident is under review, and an investigation is ongoing.

In the meantime, park visitors can rest assured that the alpacas are back home, safe and sound, and that Cedar Point is taking steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
