**BREAKING: Brave 6-Pound Pomeranian Defends Home from Ferocious Bear**

In a jaw-dropping display of canine courage, a tiny 6-pound Pomeranian named Bingo chased off a massive bear that had broken into a British Columbia woman’s home.

The dramatic encounter was captured on the homeowner’s security camera, which shows the bear casually strolling into the house, sniffing around the living room, and helping itself to a snack from the kitchen counter.

But just as the bear was about to grab a cookie, Bingo, the fearless Pomeranian, sprang into action. With a fierce bark, the pint-sized pup charged at the bear, yapping loudly and flailing its tiny paws.

The bear, taken aback by the sudden attack, let out a startled growl and turned tail, fleeing the house with Bingo hot on its heels. The chase was on, with Bingo barking furiously as the bear lumbered out of the house and into the backyard.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes,” said homeowner, Jane Smith. “I was hiding in my bedroom, shaking with fear, and then I heard Bingo barking like crazy. I peeked out the window and saw the bear running away with Bingo chasing after it. I was laughing and crying at the same time!”

The bear, identified as a 300-pound grizzly, was seen fleeing the scene, its dignity bruised but its fur intact.

When asked about Bingo’s bravery, Smith gushed, “That little dog is a hero! I’ve always known she was fierce, but I had no idea she was a bear-wrangler too!”

The incident has left neighbors in stitches, with one resident remarking, “I’ve lived in these woods for 20 years and I’ve never seen a bear run from a dog before. I guess you could say Bingo is the real boss around here!”

As for Bingo, she’s being hailed as a local hero and has been rewarded with a year’s supply of treats and belly rubs.

**UPDATE:** The bear has been spotted fleeing to Alberta, where it’s reportedly seeking counseling for its fragile ego.
