**BREAKING: RACCOON DOG ON THE LOOSE IN WALES, RESIDENTS ADVISED TO STOCK UP ON CHICKEN FEED AND STAY INDOORS**

A desperate search is underway in the small town of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, Wales, after a rogue raccoon dog escaped from a local petting zoo and is now roaming free, leaving a trail of destruction and chaos in its wake.

The raccoon dog, named “Rocky” by authorities, is described as “sneaky, cunning, and with a voracious appetite for all things shiny and edible.” Residents are warned to be on high alert and to secure all outdoor trash cans, pet food, and garden gnomes, as Rocky has already been spotted making off with a prized collection of Welsh cakes from a local bakery.

“I was just about to put the kettle on when I saw this masked bandit rummaging through my garden,” said local resident, Gwen ap Rhys. “I tried to shoo it away, but it just gave me a cheeky grin and a wink, and then made a beeline for my prized vegetable patch.”

Authorities have deployed a team of highly trained wildlife experts, equipped with an arsenal of chicken feed and clever traps, to capture the cunning canine.

“We are doing everything in our power to catch this raccoon dog and restore peace to the good people of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll,” said Chief Inspector Ianto Evans. “But we need the public’s help. If you see Rocky, do not approach it. Instead, grab your phone and call us immediately. And for goodness’ sake, do not try to feed it. We don’t want anyone getting hurt… or having their garden furniture rearranged.”

As the search continues, residents are advised to remain vigilant and to report any sightings of the raccoon dog to the authorities immediately.

**LAST SEEN:** Rocky was last spotted wearing a tiny backpack and a mischievous glint in its eye, heading towards the nearby mountains.

**IF FOUND:** Please do not approach. Instead, call the Raccoon Dog Hotline at 0800-RACCOON-DOG or email [rockytheraccoondog@wales.gov.uk](mailto:rockytheraccoondog@wales.gov.uk).

**REWARD:** A reward of 100 Welsh cakes and a year’s supply of chicken feed is being offered for information leading to the safe capture of Rocky the raccoon dog.
