**BREAKING: MASTERMIND CANINE ON THE LOOSE!**

In a daring heist that has left animal control officials baffled, a genius escape artist dog named Chase has pulled off the impossible: breaking out of his kennel with ease, and leaving a trail of jaw-dropping amazement in his wake.

According to eyewitnesses, Chase, a sleek and agile canine with a mischievous glint in his eye, was seen scaling the walls of his enclosure at the Pike County Animal Shelter in Kentucky like a furry little Spider-Man.

“It was like he had a PhD in Kennel Escapeology,” said a stunned shelter volunteer, who wished to remain anonymous for fear of being outsmarted by the canine mastermind. “One minute he was just chillin’ in his kennel, and the next, he was OVER THE DOOR AND GONE, leaving a cloud of bewildered onlookers in his wake!”

Video footage of the daring escape, which has been viewed millions of times on social media, shows Chase effortlessly climbing up the door of his kennel, using his paws and teeth to hoist himself over the top, and then nonchalantly strolling out of the enclosure like he owned the place.

“I mean, I’ve seen some smart dogs in my time, but this guy is like Houdini with a pulse,” said Shelter Manager, Jane Smith. “We’re talking about a dog who can outsmart a team of highly trained animal control officers. It’s like he’s planning his next heist as we speak!”

Chase, who has been dubbed the “Pike County Prison Breaker,” is still on the loose, and authorities are urging residents to be on the lookout for the cunning canine.

In the meantime, shelter officials are scrambling to upgrade their kennel security and prevent future great escapes.

“We’re talking about investing in some serious dog-proofing measures,” said Smith. “Maybe some of that top-secret, escape-proof fencing used in maximum-security prisons. Because if Chase can escape from our shelter, who knows what other dastardly plans he has in store for us?”
