**BREAKING: OSTRICH ON THE LOOSE IN SEOUL!**
In a bizarre incident that has left residents of Seoul scratching their heads, a feisty ostrich named “Ollie” broke free from the Seoul City Zoo and went on a wild adventure through the city’s busy streets.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as “absolute chaos” as Ollie, estimated to be around 9 feet tall and 300 pounds of pure, unadulterated bird brain, sprinted down a major highway, weaving in and out of cars and leaving a trail of honking horns and bewildered onlookers in his wake.
“I was driving to work when suddenly, out of nowhere, this…this…thing comes barreling down the road,” said commuter Ji-Hyun Kim. “I thought I was hallucinating! I mean, who expects to see an ostrich in a suit and tie, am I right?”
CCTV footage captured the ostrich’s daring escape, showing it effortlessly dodging taxis and pedestrians as it made its way down the highway. At one point, Ollie even jumped over a parked car, executing a perfect “bird-style” hurdle that left onlookers gasping in amazement.
“It was like something out of a cartoon!” exclaimed Seoul resident Soo-Jin Lee. “I’ve never seen anything like it! I mean, who needs a sports car when you’ve got an ostrich on the loose?”
After a thrilling 20-minute chase, Ollie was finally recaptured by a team of brave zoo officials, who coaxed the bird back into its enclosure with a trail of juicy chicken nuggets.
“We’re just glad no one was hurt, and Ollie is back safe and sound,” said a zoo spokesperson. “Although, we are considering installing a ostrich-sized panic room in the enclosure, just in case.”
The incident has left Seoul’s residents in stitches, with many taking to social media to share their own theories about Ollie’s great escape.
“I think he was trying to get to the nearest KFC,” joked Twitter user @SeoulSass. “I mean, who wouldn’t want to try some finger-lickin’ good chicken?”
The Seoul City Zoo has announced plans to increase security measures to prevent any future feathered fugitive incidents, but we’re betting Ollie will be plotting his next great escape…
