**BREAKING: ROO-GATE ROCKS CZECH REPUBLIC AS FEARSOME KANGAROO GOES ROGUE**
In a shocking turn of events, a kangaroo named “Kiki” has hopped its way to freedom from a maximum-security prison in the Czech Republic, leaving a trail of chaos and bewildered onlookers in its wake.
According to eyewitnesses, Kiki, a 3-year-old ‘roo with a penchant for mischief, broke free from the prison’s outdoor enclosure in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
“It was like something out of a cartoon,” said Prison Guard, Jan Šťastný. “One minute I was sipping my coffee, and the next, this kangaroo was bounding over the walls like it was on a pogo stick!”
Kiki, who was serving a 5-year sentence for a string of daring cookie heists, apparently used a combination of its impressive jumping ability and a cleverly concealed stash of tools to escape.
“It was like it had a team of highly trained ninja squirrels helping it,” said Prison Director, Marie Králová. “We’ve reviewed the footage, and it’s clear that Kiki had been planning this escape for months.”
As Kiki made its way through the streets of Prague, residents were shocked to see the ‘roo dodging pedestrians and cars with ease.
“I was on my way to work when suddenly, this kangaroo comes out of nowhere and starts doing laps around the tram stop,” said local resident, Petr Novák. “I mean, I’ve seen some weird things in Prague, but this was something else!”
Authorities have launched a massive manhunt – or rather, ‘roo-hunt – and are urging citizens to remain calm.
“We understand that a kangaroo on the loose can be a bit unsettling, but we assure the public that we’re doing everything in our power to capture Kiki and bring it back to its cozy prison cell,” said Police Chief, Tomáš Hájek.
Meanwhile, Kiki remains at large, and its next move is anyone’s guess.
