**BREAKING: Morning News Anchor Defies All Logic and Gives Birth On Air**

In a shocking turn of events, morning news anchor, Karen Brown, went into labor live on air and gave birth to a healthy baby boy, all while still anchoring the show.

It was just another typical morning at WNYC News, until 6:02 AM when anchor Karen Brown suddenly clutched her stomach and let out a loud “Owwww!” The studio crew was caught off guard as Karen, 35, revealed she was in labor.

“I think I’m having a baby… NO, WAIT, I MEAN I THINK WE HAVE A BREAKING NEWS STORY!” Karen exclaimed, as she doubled over in pain.

Producer, Tom Harris, rushed into the studio, shouting “CODE BROWN! CODE BROWN!” but Karen insisted on continuing with the broadcast.

With only 10 minutes into the show, Karen was heard moaning in the background as she pushed through contractions. Co-anchor, John Smith, tried to keep the show on track, but it quickly descended into chaos.

At 6:45 AM, Karen gave birth to a 7-pound, 11-ounce baby boy, right there in the studio. The crew was stunned, but Karen, being the pro that she is, simply adjusted her mic and continued to anchor the show.

“I’d like to welcome our new addition to the WNYC family… my son, Jackson!” Karen cooed, cradling her newborn in her arms.

The studio erupted in cheers and applause as Karen’s colleagues rushed to congratulate her. John Smith, still in shock, managed to stammer out a few words of congratulations.

Meanwhile, the show’s producer, Tom Harris, was heard shouting “WE’RE GOING TO NEED MORE COFFEE… AND A PEDIATRICIAN!”

Despite the mayhem, Karen continued to deliver the news, all while feeding her newborn and taking calls from viewers.

In a post-show interview, Karen revealed that she had been planning to take a 12-week maternity leave, but “apparently, my baby had other plans.”

The WNYC News team has since been dubbed the “Supermom Squad” and Karen Brown has been hailed as a true broadcasting legend.

**UPDATE:** The baby, Jackson, has been named the official “Mascot of WNYC News” and will be making regular appearances on the show. Karen has announced that she will be returning to work in just a few weeks, with a new addition to her family… a baby book.
