**BREAKING: GATOR ON THE LOOSE!**
In a bizarre incident that has left passengers and airport officials scaly with fear, a MASSIVE alligator was spotted roaming freely on the tarmac at Orlando International Airport in Florida.
Eyewitnesses claim the gargantuan reptile, estimated to be over 20 feet long and as wide as a small car, was seen strolling casually past parked planes, sending shockwaves throughout the airport.
“I was just waiting for my flight to Miami when suddenly, out of nowhere, this ginormous gator comes lumbering across the tarmac,” said passenger, Jane Doe. “I mean, I’ve seen some big alligators in my day, but this one was ENORMOUS! I thought for sure it was going to swallow a plane whole!”
Airport officials confirmed that the alligator, which has been nicknamed “Gatorzilla,” appears to have escaped from a nearby wildlife sanctuary and wandered onto the airport’s runway.
“We’re not sure how it happened, but we’re working to safely contain the situation,” said airport spokesperson, John Smith. “In the meantime, we’re advising passengers to stay indoors and avoid any areas where the alligator may be roaming.”
As authorities scramble to corral the wayward reptile, passengers are being treated to a front-row seat show. “It’s like something out of a horror movie!” exclaimed passenger, Bob Johnson. “I’ve never seen anything like it! I mean, who needs in-flight entertainment when you’ve got a giant alligator on the loose?”
In a bizarre twist, some enterprising passengers have started a betting pool to guess how long it will take for airport officials to catch the gator.
“I’ve got 10 bucks on 5 minutes,” said passenger, Sarah Lee. “But my friend thinks it’ll take at least an hour. I mean, have you seen the size of that thing? It’s like a dinosaur!”
Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story, and in the meantime, if you’re flying out of Orlando, be sure to pack your sense of humor… and a few extra snacks, just in case you’re delayed by a certain scaly friend!
