Birds of all feathers flock together, and sometimes they flock away! The latest escapee on the loose is none other than a pesky pelican from the local zoo – for his sake, let’s hope he’s not feeling too “fowl.”
Keepers at the zoo must have been ruffling their feathers when they realized their prized pelican was nowhere to be found. It seems the bird had been planning his escape for some time, as he managed to give the keepers the slip and soar away unnoticed.
Luckily for beach-goers, the escaped pelican was soon spotted waddling along the sandy shores of a nearby beach. Perhaps he was trying to get a tan or looking for some fresh fish to gobble up. Either way, it’s fair to say his great escape has been quite the spectacle.
Crowds have flocked to the beach, eager to catch a glimpse of the elusive escapee. While some well-meaning citizens tried to catch the bird, others have been content to just let him be – after all, the pelican has shown some real initiative to escape the confines of his zoo.
Speaking of the zoo, officials there are clamoring to get their feathered friend back under wraps. However, despite their best efforts, it seems like the bird is determined to stay out and enjoy his newfound freedom.
