Local Business Owner Boasts Most Boring Hobby in the World
In what can only be described as the least exciting news of the year, an Ohio arcade owner claims to have the world’s largest collection of pinball machines. Wow, how thrilling.
The owner, who we won’t name because honestly, who cares, reportedly has over 1,000 pinball machines in their collection. We can only imagine the sheer excitement of walking through a room filled with a thousand pinball machines. Yawn.
And what’s even more boring is that this so-called “collector” apparently spends all their free time fixing up and maintaining these outdated relics. We can only assume the excitement level in this person’s life hovers around zero.
Who on earth has the time and money to accumulate such a collection and then devote all their energy to keeping them in working order? It’s beyond comprehension. We can only assume this person has never experienced the thrill of bungee jumping or skydiving or even trying a new type of food.
But hey, maybe we’re just not “old-school” enough to appreciate the joy of playing pinball. Or maybe we’re just too cool to waste our time on such juvenile games. Either way, we’re pretty confident that this “world record” will have no bearing on anyone’s life, ever.
In fact, we’d like to propose a new world record for most boring hobby ever. It’s safe to say that 1,000 pinball machines puts this person at the top of the list.
So congratulations to the Ohio arcade owner for reaching the height of mundanity. We’re sure your collection will gather dust in your basement for years to come and that you’ll continue to be the envy of absolutely no one.
