What a stroke of pure luck for this Virginia man! He just happened to be on a cruise when he won a million-dollar lottery prize. I mean, he must have been onto a good thing with Lady Luck looking down on him.

Sources close to the winner say he was “over the moon” and “couldn’t believe his luck.” Of course, we’re sure it has nothing to do with the fact that he was soaking up the sun on a luxurious cruise liner while sipping on a fruity cocktail. Oh, and let’s not forget that he was probably surrounded by attractive people getting paid to be nice to him.

This makes you wonder, is it really luck or just a great setting that makes all the difference in the world? I guess we’ll never know.

The winner has reportedly opted to receive the lump sum payout, so he can, wait for it, “pay off some bills and maybe take another cruise.” What? Pay off bills? Sounds like he didn’t have that much debt in the first place if he’s only using a small fraction of his winnings. And another cruise? This guy is living the life.

We tried to ask the lottery winner for some commentary, but when we reached out to his agent, we were told that he’s currently on a world cruise – excuse me while I attempt to control my jealousy.

In the meantime, let’s give him some credit for striking big on a lottery ticket. I mean, it’s not like he spent his hard-earned money on scratch-off tickets – that’s something right?

On the other hand, it’s kind of a bummer for those of us who have been playing the lottery for years, hoping to have our chance at winning. I mean, it’s not like we could just pack up our bags and hop on a cruise liner on a whim.

Hopefully, this will serve as inspiration for all of us to strive for the impossible – that one day we too can win the lottery while lounging on a tropical island.

For now, let’s sit back and live vicariously through this lucky man, and hope that one day we might be as fortunate as he is.
