Wisconsin Restaurant Goes Wild as Deer Crashes Through Window
In what can only be described as a lively lunch experience, patrons of a local Wisconsin restaurant got more than they bargained for when a deer decided to join in on the fun. At around noon on Wednesday, the lunch rush quickly turned into a stampede as the buck crashed through a window and made itself at home in the seating area.
Witnesses report that the majestic creature seemed confused and disoriented, wandering around the restaurant as if searching for a menu. Several customers tried to approach the deer to offer suggestions, but the animal appeared uninterested in their dietary recommendations.
As patrons scrambled to get out of the way of the curious deer, restaurant staff quickly evacuated the premises and called animal control. But unfortunately, it seems that the deer had other plans in mind. Rather than waiting around for the authorities, the buck decided to take a tour of the kitchen.
Upon entering the kitchen, the deer was greeted by a chorus of clanging pots and pans, but seemed undeterred by the cacophony. In an effort to outsmart the relentless animal, restaurant staff attempted to lure the deer out with a trail of carrot sticks and salad greens. But alas, the deer had other plans.
With all exits blocked and the deer showing no signs of leaving any time soon, patrons and staff were forced to simply sit back and watch as the buck continued its kitchen exploration. At one point, the deer even attempted to take over the stove, snatching a spatula in its mouth and attempting to flip a pancake.
After several hours of this wild lunch experience, animal control finally arrived on the scene. But instead of intimidating the deer into submission, the animal control officer seemed to be enchanted by the buck’s adventurous spirit. Rather than corral the deer out of the restaurant, she took off her gloves and sat down at one of the tables, joining in on the deer’s lunchtime adventure.
Eventually, after several more hours of wildlife hijinks, the buck was finally convinced to leave the restaurant and return to nature. As staff and patrons breathed a sigh of relief, many couldn’t help but feel a twinge of sadness at the loss of such a unique lunchtime experience.
In the end, the lunch rush at this Wisconsin restaurant will never be the same. But one thing’s for sure – patrons will be sure to keep their eyes peeled for any unexpected visitors in the future.
