Authorities in Pennsylvania are on the hunt for a python owner, who seems to have misplaced their pet snake in the most inconvenient of places. The stately reptile was discovered lurking in the student pickup area outside a local school, causing quite a stir amongst the parents and faculty.
As the news of the serpent’s presence spread, students were seen rushing out of the building in equal parts excitement and terror. Teachers, on the other hand, were frantically consulting their lesson plans to see if ‘snake handling’ was included in the state curriculum.
Fortunately for all involved, the python in question was of a relatively small size and lacked the fangs and venom that many of its larger constrictor relatives are notorious for. Still, it was a sight to behold as it coiled and uncoiled at will, seemingly unfazed by all the fuss it was causing.

Suggestions so far have included ‘Houdini’, ‘Slithers’, and even ‘Bob’; though the snake itself remains aloof and unresponsive to such festivities.
