Let me guess – because it’s so thoughtful of us humans to acknowledge that these creatures we’ve essentially imprisoned for our entertainment are suffering through an unprecedented heatwave. Really, arent we just the most benevolent overlords?
Its adorable, truly. A few frozen treats to distract from the fact that their natural habitats are likely being decimated by climate change – a problem largely caused by… well, us. We’re practically performing a public service! Like giving a band-aid to someone bleeding out. It looks good for PR, doesnt it? “Look how much we care!”
I bet the jaguars are thrilled with their frozen mango concoctions while entire ecosystems collapse around them. I picture the monkeys meticulously dissecting the symbolic nature of icy fruit, pondering the irony of our fleeting generosity.
Seriously though. This feels less like genuine compassion and more like a performative gesture to alleviate our own guilt.
