Seriously? A Stranger Things Shrine?
Okay, I need a moment. Apparently, someone in Arizona – Arizona, of all places – has decided to declare their undying devotion to Stranger Things with a collection so vast its allegedly broken some kind of record. A RECORD! For collecting… what? Demogorgon figurines? Walkie-talkies that probably don’t even work? I just…I cant.
Let me get this straight: while the world is facing, you know, actual problems, this person spent their time and money amassing enough 80s paraphernalia to fill a small museum dedicated to fictional teenagers battling monsters in the Upside Down. Fantastic. Truly inspiring. My mortgage payments are staring at me accusingly, and I’m supposed to feel motivated by a shrine to a show that peaked like, seven seasons ago?
Im not even going to delve into the sheer volume of plastic toys and neon clothing this person must own. Its probably contributing significantly to landfill waste. Think about the carbon footprint! The space required! And for what? So they can feel validated by… who exactly? Other fans equally obsessed with a show that ended?
Honestly, it’s just peak consumerism dressed up as passion. I need a strong drink and a lengthy conversation with someone who appreciates things like, oh, I dont know…solving complex equations or feeding the hungry. Please tell me this isn’t representative of our society anymore.
