## Oh, Wonderful. Another AI Savior Arrives.

Honestly, at this point, the announcements feel like a punchline. Just when you think the deluge of “revolutionary” large language models can’t get any more tiresome, *another* one emerges from the digital ether. This time, we have this…thing…called “3-12b.” Because apparently, naming things with numbers is peak creativity now. It’s like they ran out of actual words and just started pulling digits from a hat.

And the fanfare! Oh, the breathless pronouncements about its “capabilities” and “open access.” As if *we* weren’t drowning in open access to algorithms designed to generate slightly less predictable text. Don’t get me wrong, the concept of accessible AI is theoretically lovely. But realistically? It’s just another tool for generating endless content farms filled with vaguely coherent sentences about the best way to fold a fitted sheet (a question I’m frankly exhausted by).

I mean, congratulations on creating something that can, allegedly, do…what exactly? String words together in a marginally more sophisticated fashion than your average chatbot? Groundbreaking. Truly, we should be erecting statues!

It’s all so predictable. The initial hype, the inevitable disappointment when reality doesn’t match the marketing promises, and then the quiet shuffle into obscurity alongside countless other digital wonders nobody remembers. Meanwhile, back in Long Island, a man risked his life for his dog – an actual heroic act, motivated by something real – while we celebrate…3-12b. Go figure.
