Seriously? Escaped Pigs?! Massachusetts, You’re a Gem.
Right, so apparently were having a serious situation in Massachusetts now. A crisis of epic proportions. What is it? Bears ransacking campsites? Alien invasions? No. It’s pigs. Pigs. Apparently, a herd of these…these oink-producing creatures decided to take a little unauthorized stroll and are currently wandering around like they own the place.
Honestly, Im just trying to picture the scene: some farmer is out there, frantically searching for his livestock while local news crews descend like vultures, breathlessly reporting on this momentous occasion. It’s probably being spun as “charming” or “a delightful rural spectacle.” Delightful?! These are pigs, people! They root and wallow and potentially carry diseases!
And you know what? I bet someones already blaming climate change. Or the lack of affordable housing for pigs. It’s always something, isn’t it? Can we just acknowledge that maybe, just maybe, a gate wasnt properly latched or someone forgot to secure their pen? Is basic responsibility really too much to ask?
Im sure there will be countless hours spent analyzing the root causes of this porcine predicament. Meanwhile, I’ll be over here wondering if anyone considered a simple fence. Just saying.
