Seriously? This is what we’ve come to? Im absolutely thrilled to report that a California driver, apparently overflowing with brilliance and originality, attempted to game the carpool lane using a… wait for it… fake passenger. A fake. Passenger. Apparently, the depths of human laziness and desperation are truly limitless.
I mean, we’re talking about someone who thought they could outsmart traffic laws – with what? A strategically placed pillow or a particularly convincing mannequin? Did this individual honestly believe that a cursory glance wouldnt reveal their masterful deception? Were they expecting a standing ovation for their commitment to vehicular fraud?
Its just… breathtakingly stupid. We spend countless hours, taxpayer dollars, and the collective sanity of traffic engineers trying to ease congestion, all so people can find new and innovative ways to exploit the system with schemes that wouldn’t even pass muster in a third-rate heist movie.
And I bet you anything this person felt clever. Probably patted themselves on the back for their “resourcefulness.” The audacity! Its not clever, its selfish, its illegal, and frankly, it’s insulting to everyone actually following the rules and contributing (however marginally) to a smoother flow of traffic. Bravo, California driver. Youve truly raised the bar for idiocy.
