Right, lets just pause for a moment. I need to process this. Apparently, we’ve reached the pinnacle of human ingenuity. Forget curing cancer, solving world hunger, or achieving interstellar travel. No, no. We’re celebrating…a goldfish driving a custom car. A record distance. In one minute! Because thats clearly what our collective brainpower should be directed towards.
I mean, seriously? I can barely parallel park without inducing minor cardiac arrest in nearby pedestrians, and weve engineered a vehicle for a creature whose cognitive abilities are roughly equivalent to a particularly enthusiastic houseplant? And it’s a record! A record for what, exactly? Proving that absurdity can be monetized? Demonstrating the utter lack of boundaries anyone possesses anymore?
I envision some well-funded individual, patting themselves on the back while proclaiming this groundbreaking feat. A testament to innovation! theyll cry, conveniently overlooking the fact that it’s a tiny, orange fish strapped into something resembling a miniature Formula One car.
