Let’s just…let’s talk about this for a moment, shall we? Apparently, the world hasn’t reached peak absurdity yet. Because now, someone has decided that a plaster rhino birthed from its rear end in a deeply questionable sequel to Ace Ventura warrants an auction. A rhino. Delivered via…well, you know.
Honestly, Im struggling to find the words to adequately express my dismay. We’re celebrating this? This monument to 90s silliness and arguably terrible CGI is now deemed worthy of bidding wars? Do people not have standards anymore? Is there nothing sacred?
I suppose it speaks volumes about our collective nostalgia, a desperate yearning for simpler times (even if those simpler times involved Jim Carrey contorting his face into increasingly alarming expressions). But seriously, this feels like a tipping point. A moment where we collectively surrender to the glorification of… that.
I envision wealthy collectors proudly displaying it in their homes: “Yes, darling, do admire my prized possession! It’s from Ace Ventura 2! Isnt it just…remarkable?” I can practically hear the polite coughs and strained smiles.
Frankly, I need a nap. And possibly a very strong beverage. This entire situation is deeply unsettling.
