A Horse, Really? Seriously?!
Honestly, I can’t even. A horse. In a septic tank. Filled with sewage. Being hoisted out. Are we actively trying to prove that human priorities are completely and utterly deranged? Because if so, congratulations! This is a solid gold medal performance in absurdity.
Im just sitting here picturing the scene: some poor, bewildered equine, somehow managing to blunder its way into a noxious pit of… well, you know. And then, naturally, we need hoist it out? Like it’s a particularly large and smelly piece of furniture that simply doesn’t fit in the living room anymore?
The sheer logistical effort! The manpower! The inevitable photographs circulating online with captions like Heroic Rescue! Please. Its not heroic; its damage control after someone clearly failed at basic animal husbandry. Did no one think to, I don’t know, fence the septic tank? Or perhaps educate a horse on acceptable places for exploration?
And we expend all this time and energy rescuing a creature that likely wandered into danger through sheer idiocy (no offense, horses), when there are actual problems in the world?! Im not saying we shouldn’t help animals. Im just questioning whether our priorities haven’t completely lost their minds. A horse! In a septic tank! I need a lie down.
