Seriously? People Are Suing Over Chicken Nuggets?
Honestly, I’m starting to suspect civilization is a carefully constructed performance piece designed solely to see how ridiculous we can get. The saga of the Buffalo Wild Wings “boneless wings” lawsuit has reached its merciful end – and thank goodness for that. A judge rightly tossed out the case brought by a man who apparently believed he was being bamboozled into ordering…chicken nuggets with sauce.
Nuggets! They’re nuggets! Do we really need a legal framework to dictate what food companies can call processed poultry? Is someone genuinely this intellectually incapable of understanding that boneless wings is marketing fluff, designed to entice people craving something vaguely resembling actual chicken wing flavor without the messy bones?
The sheer audacity of attempting to weaponize consumer law against…a restaurant serving breaded pieces of chicken – it’s breathtaking. It’s a testament to how far weve fallen into a pit of manufactured outrage and pointless litigation. I fully expect someone will sue a bakery next for calling donuts donuts. Where does it end?
