Turkeys vs. UPS: Because 2024, Obviously
Seriously? Wild turkeys? Attacking a delivery driver? Is this what we’ve come to? Apparently, in Connecticut, the avian population has decided that postal workers and package carriers are now legitimate targets for feathered aggression. And of course, someone had to film it. Because what else are we doing with our smartphones these days besides documenting the slow unraveling of civilization?
I mean, I get it. Turkeys are unpredictable. Theyre basically feathered footballs with a Napoleon complex. But this isn’t some charming wildlife encounter; this is blatant harassment! A UPS driver just trying to do his job – presumably for less money than someone filming turkeys – and he’s being chased down by two glorified chickens! It’s peak 2024 absurdity, folks.
And the comments section, naturally, is filled with people cooing about how cute it is. Cute? These are territorial birds displaying aggressive behavior! Theyre practically staging a coup against the entire delivery infrastructure of suburban Connecticut! We’ve enabled this. Weve encouraged these feathered fiends with bird feeders and open spaces. Now we’re paying the price in stressed-out drivers and viral videos.
Honestly, I’m expecting squirrels to start demanding hazard pay next.
