A Sheepish Saga: Because Apparently, We Have Nothing Better to Worry About
Seriously? A sheep? For three months? Roaming around Lake Michigan in Wisconsin? I’m supposed to be concerned about this? While the world teeters on the brink of… well, you know… various catastrophes, were collectively losing our minds over a lost ruminant.
Lets just pause for a moment and appreciate the sheer absurdity. This isn’t some heartwarming tale of resilience; it’s an indictment of our priorities. Did anyone even try to figure out where this woolly wanderer came from? Or was the immediate reaction just, Quick! Get pictures for social media!
And now, praise be, the sheep has been “captured” and deposited on a farm in Germantown. Because clearly, that’s what solves everything. A happy ending manufactured for our consumption. I bet theres a press release detailing the heroic efforts involved, complete with photos of smiling humans and a bewildered sheep looking utterly unimpressed by its newfound celebrity.
I’m sure the farmer is thrilled to have this unexpected guest, but honestly, I’m just exhausted. Exhausted by the constant need for feel-good stories that distract from genuine problems. A lost sheep? Really? My faith in humanity has officially grazed upon a particularly barren patch of land.
