Seriously? Dolphins in a Marsh?

Right, because nature just loves to throw us curveballs, doesnt it? Apparently, majestic marine mammals, creatures of the open ocean, decided a muddy marsh in Massachusetts was an ideal vacation spot. Two dolphins. Stranded. Because…low tide. You know, that thing that happens predictably every day?

Honestly, you’d think these highly intelligent beings could navigate around a little bit of receding water. Were they lost? Confused? Did they just decide to play a hilarious prank on the local marine rescue team? Im picturing them giggling underwater, anticipating the inevitable human intervention. Its probably more entertaining for them than it is stressful.

And naturally, we have to swoop in and “rescue” them. Because apparently dolphins can’t figure out how to get themselves back into the ocean. A team of dedicated individuals, undoubtedly paid with taxpayer dollars, mobilized to pull two perfectly capable animals out of a puddle. Im sure they were thrilled. Really, thrilled to be diverting resources from… well, anything else that might actually need them.

It’s just…peak absurdity. While the world burns and infrastructure crumbles, we’re rescuing dolphins from marshes. Fantastic. Truly.
