**BREAKING: CALIFORNIA KAYAKERS’ JAW-DROPPING, HEART-STOPPING, LIFE-CHANGING ENCOUNTER WITH 10-FOOT GREAT WHITE SHARK CAUGHT ON CAMERA!**

In a heart-stopping, spine-tingling, and fin-tastic turn of events, two brave (or utterly insane) kayakers off the coast of California had the most epic encounter with a great white shark that will leave you on the edge of your seat and questioning their sanity!

According to eyewitnesses (okay, it was just a seagull), Alex Johnson and Ryan Thompson, both seasoned kayakers, were paddling through the crystal-clear waters of Monterey Bay, enjoying the breathtaking views of the coastline, when suddenly, out of the depths of the Pacific Ocean, emerged a monstrous 10-foot great white shark!

“I was just trying to get a selfie with my friend, and then this…this…THING comes out of nowhere!” exclaimed Johnson, still shaken but grateful to be alive.

The shark, estimated to be around 10 feet in length and 500 pounds in weight (or roughly the size of a small car), allegedly swam within mere inches of the kayakers’ fragile vessels, causing them to…well, let’s just say they won’t be needing a caffeine boost for a while.

“I swear, it was looking right at us, and I thought for sure we were going to be its next meal,” said Thompson, his voice trembling with excitement. “I mean, who needs a theme park when you’ve got a great white shark trying to make a snack out of you?”

Miraculously, the kayakers managed to maintain their composure (or maybe they just froze in terror) and snapped a quick photo with the shark looming large in the background.

“I was like, ‘Dude, can you please just swim away? I have a family to get back to!'” laughed Johnson.

The photo, which has since gone viral on social media, shows the shark’s enormous fin slicing through the water, with the kayakers’ tiny kayaks looking like toys in comparison.

Marine experts have since weighed in on the encounter, saying that great white sharks are generally not aggressive towards humans unless they feel threatened or mistake them for food (which, let’s be real, is a pretty fair assumption given the circumstances).

When asked if they would be returning to the waters anytime soon, the kayakers just laughed and said, “Uh, maybe after we get some therapy…and a few dozen tranquilizers.”

**UPDATE:** The kayakers have since started a GoFundMe page to raise money for…well, let’s just say they’re going to need a lot of coffee and counseling.
