**BREAKING: GOAT ON THE LOOSE!**

In a bizarre incident that has left residents of rural Alabama scratching their heads, a feisty goat has been wreaking havoc on the countryside, leaving a trail of destruction and bewildered onlookers in its wake.

According to eyewitnesses, the rogue goat, described as “fluffy, furry, and frighteningly fierce,” has been spotted roaming the streets of Oakdale, Alabama, causing chaos and mayhem wherever it goes.

“I was sipping sweet tea on my porch when suddenly, out of nowhere, this goat comes bounding down the street, eating my neighbor’s garden gnomes and leaving a trail of destruction in its wake,” said local resident, Bubba Jenkins. “I mean, I’ve seen some crazy things in my time, but this goat was on a whole different level.”

The goat, estimated to be around 3 feet tall and sporting a majestic coat of shaggy brown fur, has been spotted scaling fences, knocking over trash cans, and even attempting to “help” with a local farmer’s hay baling operation.

“It’s like it’s trying to take over the world or something,” said Farmer Brown, whose prize-winning haystack was recently ravaged by the marauding goat. “I’ve tried to catch it, but that thing is fast – I’m talking ‘Flash’ fast. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Alabama State Troopers have issued a warning to residents, urging them to be on the lookout for the wayward goat and to exercise extreme caution when approaching it.

“We understand that the goat may seem cute and cuddly, but we assure you, it is a force to be reckoned with,” said Trooper Jimmy Johnson. “If you see it, do not approach it. Call us immediately. We have a team of highly trained goat wranglers on standby, ready to spring into action at a moment’s notice.”

In the meantime, residents are advised to secure their gardens, trash cans, and any other potential goat snacks, and to report any further sightings to the authorities.

As one local quipped, “If you see that goat, just remember: it’s not just a goat, it’s a goat on a mission from God.”

**UPDATE:** The goat has been spotted wearing a tiny pair of sunglasses and a fedora. Authorities are stumped.
