Boise, ID – In a bizarre incident that has left scientists baffled and neighbors amazed, 32-year-old Idaho resident, Bubba Jenkins, has reportedly used a homemade pump-powered rocket to hit a target 37 times in a row.

According to eyewitnesses, Jenkins, a self-proclaimed “Rocket Whisperer,” spent hours in his backyard, fine-tuning his contraption, which he built using a PVC pipe, some duct tape, and a bicycle pump.

“I was just trying to get it to hit the barn door,” Jenkins said in an interview. “But then I got on a roll and couldn’t stop!”

The target, a cardboard box marked ” Bullseye,” was set up 20 feet away from Jenkins’ makeshift launchpad. Witnesses claim that the rocket, which Jenkins dubbed “The Idaho Express,” was pumped up to an astonishing 300 pounds per square inch before being launched.

“I was skeptical at first,” said Jenkins’ neighbor, Larry Wilson. “But then I saw it hit the target and I was like, ‘Well, I’ll be darned!’ It was like it had a mind of its own!”

As the demonstration continued, Jenkins proceeded to hit the target an unprecedented 37 times in a row, with some shots reportedly hitting the exact same spot.

“I think I got a little carried away,” Jenkins said, chuckling. “But hey, when you’re on a roll, you gotta keep going, right?”

The Guinness World Records has been notified, and officials are expected to arrive soon to verify the achievement.

In the meantime, Jenkins has been fielding calls from NASA, the Pentagon, and a representative from the History Channel, all of whom are interested in learning more about his remarkable rocket.

When asked about his plans for the future, Jenkins simply smiled and said, “I’m thinking of going for 50 in a row. And maybe then I’ll try my hand at launching it into space.”

**UPDATE:** The Idaho Express has been retired and is now on display at the Idaho State Fair, where it has become the main attraction. Jenkins has announced plans to start a Rocket-Pumping Club, where enthusiasts can gather to share tips and tricks for achieving maximum projectile velocity.
