**BREAKING: CAMEL-GEDDON STRIKES CEDAR POINT AS ROGUE CAMELS WREAK HAVOC**

Sandusky, OH – In a bizarre incident that has left thrill-seekers and families alike scratching their heads, a pair of mischievous camels somehow managed to break free from the petting zoo at Cedar Point, one of the world’s premier amusement parks.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as “absolute pandemonium” as the two humps, identified as “Daisy” and “Spike,” made a daring escape from their enclosure and took to the streets of the park.

“I was waiting in line for the Steel Vengeance roller coaster when I saw them,” said park-goer, Jenny Johnson. “At first, I thought it was some kind of prank, but then I saw the camels running amok, spitting at people and knocking over a vendor’s cart. It was like something out of a wild west movie!”

As the camels made their way through the park, they left a trail of destruction in their wake, sending cotton candy stands flying and causing a stampede of screaming children.

“I was terrified,” said 8-year-old Timmy Thompson. “I saw one of the camels try to nibble on my sister’s ice cream cone, and then it started chasing her around the park. I thought for sure we were going to be camel food!”

Park officials were quick to respond to the situation, deploying a team of highly trained camel wranglers (okay, maybe not, but they did call in some backup from the local zoo) to corral the errant ungulates.

“It was like they had a PhD in chaos,” said park spokesperson, Karen Brown. “We’re still trying to figure out how they managed to escape, but we’re just glad no one was seriously hurt. Well, except for the guy who got spit on. He’s still nursing a wounded ego.”

The camels were eventually recaptured and returned to their enclosure, where they are reportedly plotting their next great escape.

In the meantime, park visitors are being advised to steer clear of the petting zoo until further notice, lest they encounter any more marauding camels.

As one park-goer quipped, “Who needs roller coasters when you’ve got rogue camels causing chaos? This is the most exciting day I’ve had all summer!”

**UPDATE:** Cedar Point has announced that it will be offering a special “Camel-Escape Survivor” discount to all visitors who can show proof of having witnessed the great camel escape. Just don’t try to sneak in a selfie with the camels – they’re still a little testy.
