**RECORD-BREAKING COLLECTION SENDS SHIVERS DOWN SPINES**
In a spine-tingling tale of obsession, a British man’s love for the paranormal comedy classic “Ghostbusters” has led him to amass a jaw-dropping 2,012 pieces of memorabilia, leaving fans and family members alike screaming for more.
Stephen “Ghost” Griffiths, 42, a self-proclaimed “superfan” from London, has spent years scouring the globe for the most outrageous, the most unbelievable, and the most utterly bizarre Ghostbusters collectibles. His prized possessions include a proton pack that doubles as a functional vacuum cleaner, a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man onesie, and a signed poster of Bill Murray riding a unicorn.
“I’ve got everything from rare action figures to vintage movie posters, and even a Ghostbusters-themed toaster that shoots out Ecto-Cooler-flavored toast,” Griffiths exclaimed, his eyes gleaming with excitement. “My friends and family think I’m crazy, but I don’t care. I’ve got a Ghostbusters shrine in my living room, and I’m not afraid to use it!”
Griffiths’ collection is so vast that it takes up an entire floor of his three-story home, which he’s dubbed “Ecto-Mansion.” The rooms are filled to the brim with Ghostbusters goodies, including a life-size replica of the Ghostbusters’ iconic vehicle, which he’s converted into a working ice cream truck.
“It’s like stepping into a Ghostbusters theme park,” Griffiths said, gesturing to his Ecto-1 adorned with flashing lights and a siren that plays the Ghostbusters theme song on repeat. “I’ve even got a ‘Ghostbusters’-themed pinball machine that shoots out marshmallows instead of balls.”
But Griffiths’ pièce de résistance is his “Ghostbusters” movie prop collection, which includes a working Ghost Grabber, a Slimer figurine that shoots out green goo, and a signed script from the 1984 film.
“I’ve got a team of paranormal investigators on speed dial, just in case my collection becomes haunted,” Griffiths joked. “But seriously, I’m just a guy who’s passionate about Ghostbusters. If you’re a fan, come on over and check it out. Just don’t touch anything – I don’t want anyone to get possessed by the Ghostbusters spirit!”
Griffiths’ Guinness World Record-breaking collection has earned him a reputation as the “Ghostbusters King” among fans, and he’s been featured on several TV shows and podcasts.
When asked what’s next for his collection, Griffiths grinned mischievously. “I’m on the hunt for a real-life Marshmallow Man statue. If anyone knows where I can find one, give me a call. I’m willing to trade in my Ecto-1 for it.”
