**BREAKING: Drone-gate Hits Jersey Shore, Lawmaker Claims Aliens are Behind Mysterious Flying Objects**
In a bizarre turn of events, a New Jersey lawmaker from the Jersey Shore has come forward with a shocking claim that the mysterious drones spotted in the area are not just any ordinary flying devices – but are, in fact, extraterrestrial in origin.
According to State Assemblyman Vinnie “The Bull” LaRosa, the drones have been evading detection by traditional methods, leading him to conclude that they are “clearly out of this world.”
“I’ve seen some weird stuff in my time, but this takes the cake,” LaRosa said in a statement. “These drones are like nothing we’ve ever seen before. They’re fast, they’re sneaky, and they’re definitely not from around here.”
LaRosa claims that the drones have been spotted hovering over popular beach towns like Point Pleasant and Seaside Heights, causing widespread panic among residents and tourists alike.
“It’s like they’re trying to steal our boardwalk fries or something,” LaRosa joked. “But seriously, folks, we need to get to the bottom of this. I mean, who needs UFOs when you have UFOs… er, I mean, drones?”
The Assemblyman has proposed a bill that would require all drones operating in the state to be equipped with GPS tracking devices and flashing lights, in an effort to “bring them out of the dark ages.”
When asked if he was prepared for the possibility that the drones might be of alien origin, LaRosa quipped, “Hey, I’m a Jersey boy, I can handle it. I’ve dealt with some tough crowds in my time – like the folks who come to the boardwalk on a summer Friday night. Bring on the little green men, I say!”
In related news, the Jersey Shore chapter of the Mothman Appreciation Society has issued a statement claiming that they “knew it all along.”
