**BREAKING: RARE BLUE LOBSTER RESCUE OPERATION A SUCCESS!**

In a daring and dramatic turn of events, a team of highly trained aquatic commandos from the New York Aquarium swooped in to save a rare and majestic blue lobster from the clutches of a hungry supermarket tank.

The crustacean in question, a stunning specimen of the elusive blue lobster, was spotted swimming alongside its dull, standard-colored brethren in the tank at “Joe’s Seafood Market” in Brooklyn. Eyewitnesses described the scene as “a lobster party, but one guest was clearly the life of the party.”

“I was just browsing for some, you know, regular seafood when I saw this…this…BLUE MONSTROUSITY!” exclaimed local resident, Karen Jenkins. “I mean, I’ve seen some weird things in my life, but a blue lobster just chillin’ with the regular lobsters? It was like something out of a cartoon!”

The blue lobster, estimated to be around 2 pounds of pure, unadulterated awesomeness, was reportedly living its best life in the supermarket tank, much to the delight of onlookers.

However, aquarium officials quickly sprang into action, dispatching a team of expert lobster wranglers to extract the rare crustacean from its temporary home. The rescue operation was a delicate one, requiring precision and finesse to avoid startling the blue lobster.

“We received a tip about the blue lobster’s whereabouts and sprang into action,” said Aquarium spokesperson, Jane Smith. “We couldn’t just leave it there, surrounded by those…those… ordinary lobsters. It was like a peacock in a pigeon coop!”

The blue lobster, now safely ensconced in its new home at the New York Aquarium, is reportedly adjusting well to its new surroundings.

“We’re thrilled to have this incredible creature on board,” said Aquarium curator, Dr. John Taylor. “We’re already planning a special ‘Blue Lobster Bash’ celebration, complete with lobster-themed games, crustacean crafts, and a special appearance by the Aquarium’s famous ‘Lobster Whisperer’!”

As for the supermarket tank, it’s back to business as usual, with customers clamoring to see the “regular” lobsters.

But let’s be real, folks…who needs regular lobsters when you can have a BLUE ONE?!
