**BREAKING: Fowl Play Ends in English Village as Notorious Harris’ Hawk is Captured**

In a daring operation that has left residents breathing a sigh of relief, a marauding Harris’ hawk has been apprehended in the quaint English village of Littleton, where it had been wreaking havoc with its alleged 50 dive-bombing attacks on unsuspecting locals.

The bird, described by eyewitnesses as “a feathered fiend with a vendetta against humanity,” had been terrorizing the village for weeks, leaving a trail of bewildered residents in its wake.

“I was just walking to the pub when suddenly, out of nowhere, this bird of prey comes swooping down, talons outstretched, and gives me a good ol’ fashioned pecking,” said Agnes Pembly, 72, a local resident who claims to have been one of the hawk’s many victims. “I thought I was a goner, I did!”

The hawk, estimated to be around 2 years old and sporting a menacing gaze, was finally cornered and captured by a team of brave villagers, who employed a combination of cunning, guile, and an impressive array of umbrellas to subdue the bird.

“It was like something out of a Hitchcock film,” said PC Nigel Thistlewaite, who was called to the scene to assist with the capture. “I’ve never seen anything like it. The bird was like a tiny, feathered dictator, ruling over the village with an iron wing.”

The hawk, now being held in a secure avian facility, is expected to face charges of multiple counts of avian assault, reckless endangerment, and making a general nuisance of itself.

When asked about the motivations behind the hawk’s reign of terror, experts speculate that the bird may have been driven by a desire for attention, a thirst for revenge against the human population, or simply a love of dramatic entrances.

Whatever the reason, one thing is certain: the people of Littleton can finally rest easy, knowing that their skies are safe once again.

**UPDATE:** The captured hawk has been offered a plea deal: in exchange for a reduced sentence, it has agreed to provide flying lessons to the village’s residents.
