**BREAKING: ROGUE GOAT CAPTURED AFTER 48 HOURS OF TERRORIZING MASSACHUSETTS TOWN**

In a daring drama that has left residents of Worcester, Massachusetts shaken to their boots, a marauding goat was finally apprehended yesterday evening after a two-day rampage that saw it escape from a local petting zoo and wreak havoc on the community.

The caprine culprit, identified as “Mr. Nibbles” by zoo officials, was first spotted making a break for freedom on Tuesday afternoon, leaving a trail of destruction and bewildered onlookers in its wake.

“I was just walking to the coffee shop when I saw this…this thing,” said local resident, Karen Jenkins. “It was like a furry little dictator, demanding attention and snacks from everyone it passed. I was terrified!”

As Mr. Nibbles made its way through the streets, it reportedly munched on garden gnomes, chewed through a garden hose, and even photobombed a wedding proposal, much to the delight of onlookers.

“It was like it had a personal vendetta against our flowerbeds,” said a flabbergasted Jane Smith, whose petunias were among the casualties. “I mean, who needs a lawnmower when you have a goat on the loose?”

A team of brave animal control officers, armed with nothing but their wits and a few bags of fresh lettuce, tracked the errant goat to a secluded alleyway, where it was finally coaxed into a waiting van with promises of fresh veggies and a spa day.

“We’re just glad no one was hurt, except for maybe the local florist’s business,” said Worcester Animal Control Officer, Tom Johnson. “That goat was like a Houdini – we didn’t think we’d catch it, but our team is the best in the business!”

As for Mr. Nibbles, it’s currently enjoying a well-deserved rest at a local farm, where it’s reportedly plotting its next great escape.

**UPDATE:** The petting zoo has announced plans to increase security measures, including the installation of goat-proof fencing and a 24-hour surveillance system. Meanwhile, local residents are still finding bits of lettuce in unexpected places.
