**BREAKING: SEAL INVASION ROCKS COASTAL RESORT**
In a bizarre incident that has left beachgoers shell-shocked, a gray seal somehow managed to sneak into a luxury seaside hotel room and made itself right at home – literally on top of a guest’s bed.
According to eyewitnesses, the unwelcome visitor was caught taking a three-hour nap on a plush king-sized bed, snoring loudly and drooling on the expensive linens.
“I walked into my room and was greeted by a furry, slobbering mess,” said shocked guest, Emily Wilson. “At first, I thought it was just a really hairy and sleepy roommate, but then I saw the flippers and I was like, ‘Oh no, this is not good!'”
The Netherlands animal rescue team, known for their bravery and expertise in handling all sorts of wildlife emergencies, was quickly called to the scene.
“It was like something out of a marine-life horror movie,” said rescue team leader, Hans Janssen. “We’ve dealt with some crazy cases before, but a seal in a hotel room? That’s a new one.”
The rescue team carefully coaxed the seal, estimated to be around 200 pounds, out of the room and back into the ocean. But not before it had stolen the show (and several snacks from the mini-bar).
“It was like it owned the place,” said Janssen. “It even left a little present on the bedside table. I mean, who needs a welcome gift when you’ve got a seal’s ‘thank you’ note, right?”
The hotel has since offered a special “Seal-Proof” guarantee to all future guests, promising that their rooms will be thoroughly checked for any unexpected marine life before check-in.
As for the seal, it’s been named “Seymour” and has been warned not to try this again. Or else.
**UPDATE:** The hotel has announced plans to offer a new “Seal- Watching” package, complete with a complimentary seal-spotting guide and a discount on all oceanfront rooms. Book now and you might just catch a glimpse of Seymour, the mischievous seal with a taste for luxury accommodations!
