**MIRACLE IN THE DRAIN: Kitten Rescued from California Storm Drain**
A dramatic rescue unfolded in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, California, yesterday evening, as a team of brave responders worked to save a stranded kitten trapped in a storm drain.
The kitten, estimated to be around 6 months old, became wedged in the narrow drainpipe during a sudden rainstorm that swept through the area. The heavy rainfall caused the storm drain to fill with water, leaving the frightened kitten clinging to the side of the pipe.
