LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY – In a stunning display of speed and skill, 12-year-old Emma Taylor has set a new Guinness World Record for solving a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle in an astonishing 4 hours and 27 minutes.

The record-breaking attempt took place at the Kentucky Horse Park, where Emma, a Lexington native, was surrounded by friends, family, and a team of officials from Guinness World Records.

The puzzle, which featured a beautiful image of the Kentucky horse countryside, was provided by puzzle manufacturer, Ravensburger. Emma began working on the puzzle at 9:00 AM EST and completed it at 1:27 PM EST, shattering the previous record of 5 hours and 15 minutes.

“I was a bit nervous at first, but once I got started, I just focused on finding the right pieces,” Emma said in an interview. “My mom and dad have always encouraged me to work on puzzles, and I love the feeling of accomplishment when I finish one.”

Emma’s love of puzzles began when she was just 6 years old. With the support of her family, she has spent countless hours honing her skills and learning new techniques.

“Emma has always been fascinated by puzzles,” said her mother, Sarah Taylor. “We’re so proud of her dedication and perseverance. This record is a testament to her hard work and natural talent.”
