Firefighters from Station 17 sprang into action, arriving on the scene within minutes to find the baby deer, estimated to be just a few weeks old, struggling to free itself from the fence.

“It was a real ‘oh no’ moment,” said Firefighter John Smith, who was part of the rescue team. “The little guy was stuck fast, and its mom was nowhere to be seen. We knew we had to act fast to save it.”
