In a bizarre incident that has left many in stitches, a 4-year-old boy from Wisconsin called 911 to report that his “mom was being bad” – for eating his ice cream.

According to the La Crosse Tribune, the young boy dialed 911 and told the dispatcher that his mom was being bad. When asked what was happening, the boy replied, “She’s eating my ice cream!”

The dispatcher, trying to keep a straight face, asked the boy if his mom was hurting him, to which he responded, “No, she’s just eating my ice cream.”

The boy’s mom, who had been in another room, rushed to the phone and explained to the dispatcher that her son had called 911 because she had eaten his ice cream. The dispatcher reassured her that they would send someone to help, but in the meantime, she might want to give her son some other treat to make him feel better.

The boy’s mom told the Tribune that her son had been looking forward to eating that ice cream all day, and when she took a bite, he got upset. “I didn’t think it was a big deal, but I guess I was wrong,” she said.

The incident ended with the boy getting another treat, and his mom getting a good laugh. As for the dispatcher, she got a great story to tell.

The La Crosse Police Department, where the call was received, took to Facebook to share the story, writing: “Well, we get all sorts of calls, but this one takes the cake…or should we say, the ice cream?”
