Prince Edward Island – A Ball python that was apparently feeling tired of the daily grind was found slithering around in a dumpster by a couple of local dumpster divers this morning. Miranda and Tyler were amazed when they encountered the snake, as not only was it a snake but it was also a BALL python. Who knew pythons came in all sorts of shapes and sizes, right?
Miranda and Tyler, who have no snake-catching skills whatsoever, quickly alerted the authorities who arrived on the scene to give the snake the rescue mission it so desperately needed. The python, who was in a massive state of distress, was promptly taken to the local pet store for a check-up. The veterinarian on duty confirmed that the snake was relatively healthy and that it was indeed a BALL python as was previously suspected.
The snake, who later refused to cooperate with authorities and give its name, is believed to have become lost or ran away from its previous owner who may or may not have unknowingly kicked the python to the curb and landed it in the dumpster. Authorities are urging all owners of BALL pythons to double-check their pet’s whereabouts to prevent any further snake drama.
Many residents surrounding the area where the snake was found were in utter shock and disbelief that a snake could have even wound up in a dumpster in the first place.
“It’s unbelievable, I walk my dog every day through here and I have never seen a Python anywhere, let alone in a dumpster” said a bewildered resident.
Another shocked resident commented, “I never thought I would live to see the day where we would have to rescue snakes from dumpsters. What has happened to this world?”
The human community of Prince Edward Island is breathing a sigh of relief that the slithering creature was found in time and removed from potential danger. Authorities are urging all residents to remain vigilant when throwing out their trash, as there is always the possibility that a snake, or even a crocodile, may be hiding out in there somewhere.
