We don’t know what’s more impressive, the fact that Officer Smith always keeps a snake charming flute handy or the fact that he was able to use it in a real-life situation. Either way, this is a shining example of public service and quick thinking. We hope other officers take note and start packing snake charming flutes in their squad cars, just in case.
We also can’t help but be in awe of the snake’s reaction to the flute. Who knew snakes had such refined taste in music? Maybe we’ve just been playing them the wrong kind of tunes all these years. Perhaps, we could have avoided all those snake-related accidents if only we had known about their affinity for flute music. Next time, if we encounter a snake in the wild, instead of panicking, we’ll remember to serenade them with our best rendition of “My Heart Will Go On.”
Jokes aside, Officer Smith’s quick thinking and heroic actions deserve recognition. Even if it took a snake charming flute to do it. We’re glad that the situation ended safely, and we hope that the snake is enjoying its newfound freedom away from the crazy traffic.
