“GREAT NEWS! Georgia Woman Reunited with Cat After 7-Year Vacation with Stray Colony!”

A Georgia woman is celebrating after being reunited with her feline friend, who spent the last 7 years backpacking around the neighborhood and living it up with a group of stray cats.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, was stunned to discover that her beloved cat had been gallivanting around town with the local stray crew, instead of chilling at home like a normal cat.

“I couldn’t believe it when they told me they found him living with a bunch of strays,” said the woman, who sounds both thrilled and slightly annoyed at the same time. “I mean, I thought we had something special, but I guess he just wanted to branch out on his own and explore the world.”

According to sources, the cat, whose name is unknown, was first reported missing in 2014, which means he’s been out and about for about the same amount of time that it takes to complete an undergraduate degree, travel to multiple countries, or grow an impressive beard.

While the woman was undoubtedly concerned about her pet’s safety, it appears that the cat was living his best life, hanging out with the locals, making new friends, and occasionally getting into trouble.

“I always knew he was a bit of a rebel,” said the woman, who seems to be proud of her cat’s free spirit. “I guess he just had to get it out of his system before coming back home.”

Despite the fact that the cat spent the last 7 years living with strays, he apparently still recognized his owner when they were reunited, which is pretty impressive considering how much a person can change in 7 years.

“I was worried that he’d forget who I was or that he’d be too cool for me now that he’s a seasoned traveler,” said the woman, sounding both relieved and slightly pathetic. “But he meowed when he saw me, which I assume means he missed me.”

The woman says that she’s happy to have her cat back home, although she admits that it’s going to take some time to adjust to having a house cat again.

“He keeps asking to go outside and make new friends,” she said with a chuckle. “But I keep reminding him that he’s an indoor cat now, and that he needs to focus on his studies.”

All joking aside, the woman is glad to have her pet back home where he belongs, and she hopes that he’s learned a thing or two from his time on the streets.

“I like to think that he’s wiser and more worldly now,” she said, sounding optimistic. “But at the end of the day, he’s still my cat, and I love him just the way he is.”
