Mumbai, India – SpiceJet, one of India’s beloved budget airlines, is offering its passengers an exclusive and thrilling experience – being locked in the bathroom for over an hour!

The incident happened on a recent flight from Mumbai to Kolkata, leaving passengers bewildered and confused as to whether they were on an airplane or in a new escape room.

According to reports, the passenger, Mr. Sharma, was using the in-flight bathroom when the door latch malfunctioned, trapping him inside. The crew was alerted of the situation immediately, but instead of rushing to rescue him, they kept the other passengers informed through their all-too-friendly intercom system.

As the minutes ticked by, Mr. Sharma frantically tried to escape, using all his strength to force the latched open. Unfortunately, he was unsuccessful, and the crew seemed too busy refreshing their Instagram feeds to care about his predicament.

After an excruciating 60 minutes, Mr. Sharma was finally freed by the crew, who offered him a complimentary bag of peanuts for their inconvenience.

“I was terrified. I couldn’t believe the crew wasn’t more concerned about my safety,” Mr. Sharma recounted. “It felt like I was in a horror movie, and the crew was the villain.”

Passengers have since taken to social media, sharing their thoughts on the incident.

“Thank you, SpiceJet, for giving me the greatest escape room experience of my life! I never knew I could be so scared on a plane!” one passenger tweeted.

Another passenger commented, “I was in the next seat when the incident happened, and I couldn’t stop laughing. It was like watching a comedy movie, but in real life!”

Despite the humor and sarcasm surrounding the incident, it raises concerns about the safety and care of passengers while on a flight. Hopefully, airlines like SpiceJet will prioritize their passengers’ needs over their social media presence and offer a truly safe and comfortable flying experience.
